Of course there will always be nintendo fans and children who will keep buying at least some Wii software forever. But the Wii is selling to people who would ordinarily never by a game console. Reviews by a bunch of uneducated 15 year old gamers? No one would want to read reviews by the likes of the average teenage "gamer". No game is EVER going to be perfect, so if you believe that only a perfect game should ever get a 10, then why even have a scale that goes to 10? Why not just make a scale from 1 to 9? A game doesn't have to be perfect to get a 10, but it has to be one of the best games ever made to get a 10. It has to be far above and beyond the vast majority of other games to get a 10, but it doesn't have to be "perfect", whatever that even is. That said, I don't think a single one of these games ...
I think every game magazine out there these days is a joke. A 10 is completely meaningless now. I lost all faith in all game magazine reviews when nearly every critic gave the utterly average Halo 3 a 10.
I agree completely. Video game reviews have been inflated for a long time, but now its gotten totally out of control. Reviewers, magazines, web-sites, all of them are just prostitutes.

I don't even care about the framerate and loading issues. The real problem is that this game just isn't fun. Can you people just at least admit that this game has the worst inventory management system in the history of videogames? I know you won't admit that the graphics suck, but at least admit how bad the inventory is.
Wow. I guess something is wrong with me, because I thought that every single aspect of this game was an akward, frustrating chore. I've never been more frustrated with a game in my life. I also have to be honest and say that I found the graphics to be horrible. Also, no matter what settings I put my TV on, this game is just way too dark. I can't see a thing anywhere.
Thank you Jesus, for trying to make the world less violent through promoting non-violent video games. The problem is that most of the Wii's best selling games DO involve killing things! But the 360 and the PS3 DO open up new gameplay possibilities that the previous generation and the Wii don't have. More enemies on screen, better enemy A.I., better and more complicated physics, destructible environments and probably a million more things that I can't think of right now. All of these things are at least as important as a wii-mote.
What "amazing software" are you talking about? They have super mario galaxy, zelda, and metroid. Thats it. Thats the list. Its over. And as good as those games are, they really are hurt because of their terrible graphics. I was a huge fan of the gamecube metroid primes, but after seeing metroid prime corruption in action, and seeing just how terrible and ugly the graphics are, I have no desire to play corruption. Graphics DO matter.
The reason the Wii is hated by some hardcore gamers is because we want developers to make hardcore games that push the limits of technology (but don't want to spend $5000 on a PC for Crysis). If the Wii remains really popular, then maybe developers will stop making games for the 360 or PS3 and start making cheaper, easier casual games for the Wii. I pray that the Wii is just a fad and that it completely stops selling, because the Wii is a very bad thing for hard-core gamers. I don't want deveolpers wasting their time and money making garbage games for the Wii like Cooking Mama or Wii Yoga, instead of Call of Duty 5. But it's been a year and its still selling like crazy. If its just a fad it should stopping selling pretty quick about now, but its still going strong. I'm worried.

Uncharted is an awesome game with the best graphics I have ever seen on a console. Miles better graphics than Gears of War. However, Play magazine is complete and utter garbage. They give a 10 to just about every PS2 and PS3 that comes out. A 10 from Play is meaningless. Everyone at Play is a prostitute. They are human garbage. The only worse magazine than Play in the world is GamesTM.

Is everyone blind? Am I the only person in the world who can see that in Gears of War, every object that is more than about 7 feet from your character is so blurry you can't even see it? Really blurry backgrounds are NOT GOOD GRAPHICS. Why can't anyone see this? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!
This game is already out in the US and I haven't seen any commercials for it. I'm getting the feeling that Sony isn't going to do any advertising for this at all, and that really sucks. They're advertising the hell out of COD4 and AC, but those are both multi-plat games! This is an awesome looking EXCLUSIVE and they aren't giving it any advertising! WTF?
I couldn't care less which system is technically more powerfull and I couldn't care less what the technical specifications of the consoles are. Uncharted and R&C's graphics blow any and every 360 game completely out of the water. (Of course gameplay is just as important as graphics, but graphics are what everyone is talking about here.)
